Ace Resurfacing uses the best products available from the leading coating supplier/developer to provide a robust surface with long service life. The products were developed specifically for the refinishing industry but the technology and formulation came from underwater applications on North sea oil platforms.

Our product is similar to new products like Corian and Formica in looks and performance and greatly different and superior from the DIY products you can get from your local hardware store.

What we use is a fast dry, non-yellowing, high density fully cross linked aliphatic, ASTM Type 5, high solid, Isofree acrylic urethane. It is the most durable long term finish available. Acrylic is the material used to fabricate high quality hot tubs, bath tubs, whirlpools, and shower stalls. It is also the same and similar to countertop products; laminate, cultured marble, and solid surface. Acrylic coatings are the modern solution for underwater applications including swimming pools.

Our product is VOC compliant with EPA regulations. Isocyanates have historically been used to provide the dense cross-linking of paint molecules to produce extremely durable film properties. We use a specially designed isocyanate free (Isofree) system that has superior adherence and delivers exceptional film harness, gloss retention, chemical and stain resistance.
